2. Chocolate


Like Coffee, Chocolate also contains caffeine which can increase your arousal, prevent the body from shutting down, and importantly, decrease the ability to develop and sustain the Stages of Sleep. If you love to eat Chocolates then make sure that you are not eating them at night.

3. Fatty Foods


Try to ignore Fatty Foods like Cheeseburgers, Ice-cream Sundaes, or other Junk Food. This Fatty food takes time to digest and will keep your body working rather than sleeping. And eating this food regularly at Night may lead to problems like Indigestion, bloating, and other stomach issues.

4. Hot Peppers and Spicy Foods


The most important part of eating any food at night is that it must not be too spicy. Otherwise, it would lead to Heartburn because spices like cayenne, Tabasco gets their metabolism-boosting properties from capsaicin. Our body temperature automatically decreases while sleeping, but if it starts increasing due to spicy food then it would not let you sleep and give you unnecessary pains.

We all love to eat pizza, but it’s something you should ignore eating at the night. This high acid food can trigger acid reflux, especially when you eat during your sleep time. It may not make you feel Heartburn, but the reflux leads you to be awakening partially from sleep and leaves you tired the next day.

6. Fries and Ketchup


Fries are not good to eat while you are going to sleep, as it’s fried and greasy, high in fat which leads to getting into the problem of indigestion. And Ketchup is extremely acidic and it’s made from Tomatoes, so this combination will not only make Heartburn but also make acids in the stomach. Better ignore eating at your sleep time.

7. Dried Fruit


It’s a good habit to eat Dried Fruit every day, but eating it while it’s time to sleep, may create your stomach problems. Because consuming too high Fiber food at night can cause cramps and gas in the stomach. Either eat it in the morning or don’t eat it as it’s not beneficial at sleep time.
